LOOK: Proclamation no. 216 declaring martial law in Mindanao
The House of Representatives has released a copy of President Rodrigo Duterte’s proclamation on martial law in Mindanao.
The two-page Proclamation no. 216 “Declaring a State of Martial Law and Suspending the Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus in the Whole of Mindanao” was transmitted to the House of Representatives on Wednesday by the Malacañang Records Office.
The document cites attacks perpetrated by the Maute group and a previous proclamation declaring a state of national emergency in Mindanao.
