Three teens run over by truck in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY — Three teenagers died Friday night when they were ran over by a cargo truck in Urdaneta City, according to a belated police report.

Wendel James Sison, 16; John Paul Rimas, 17; and Ian Angelo Bagnas, 17, were on a motorcycle along the south-bound lane of the Manila North Road in Barangay (village) Nancayasan at 11:59 p.m. when they fell after being sideswiped by another motorcycle.

A speeding cargo truck drove over the teens as they lay on the road, killing them.

Joel Apongol, who was piloting the other motorcycle, was taken to a hospital for treatment, along with his backriders, Janice Apongol, 33, and 5-year-old Precious Joy Apongol.
