NAGA CITY — The body of an unidentifed woman was found in a hotel in Daet town in Camarines Norte province early Saturday morning.
According to the police, the woman checked in with an unknown man for a 24-hour stay in the hotel in Barangay (village) Bagasbas around 7:00 a.m. Friday.
However, her male companion left the hotel later at 9 a.m. on the same day. He had already paid for the room. He did not return.
At around 8:00 a.m Saturday, a member of the hotel staff discovered the woman under the bed in the room with four stab wounds.
Members of Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) who investigated the crime scene said that therewere signs that the victim fought back against her still unidentified assailant. –Hanna M. Pading (Inquirer Southern Luzon Intern) /atm
