3 dead in Antipolo shooting incidents
SAN PEDRO CITY – Two suspected illegal drug dealers were killed while a cockfight handler was shot dead in separate incidents in Antipolo City in Rizal province on Thursday, police said on Friday.
Supt. Ruben Andiso, Antipolo police chief, said three suspected drug traders were shot by gunmen on a motorcycle at 11 p.m. Thursday in Sitio (subvillage) Tanglaw in Barangay San Isidro.
Two of the victims, Ramil Mañago and Norman Danday, died while the third victim, Joseph Buebo, was wounded in the attack.
“It could be a case of ‘double cross’ (or swindling in drug deals),” Andiso said in a telephone interview.
Hours earlier, another attack killed Jaymar Von Atienza, a cockfight handler, in Barangay San Jose.
A police report said motorcycle-riding gunmen shot Atienza and wounded his companion, Raymond Sique, at 3:30 p.m. JE/rga
