DID YOU KNOW: Enrique Mendiola
Today, May 3, 1859, is the 158th birth anniversary of educator Enrique Mendiola. Born in San Miguel, Manila, he was a pioneer in character education. He founded the Instituto Burgos which was authorized to confer the degree of bachelor of arts. Mendiola died on March 30, 1914.
