QC cop shot dead inside car repair shop

MANILA, Philippines—A Quezon City policeman was shot and killed while inside a car repair shop along Visayas Avenue late afternoon on Tuesday, a police official said.

Supt. Audie Madrideo, commander of the QCPD-Station 2, identified the slain policeman as SPO3 Arnold Yu assigned at the headquarters in Camp Karingal.

Madrideo said Yu, who sustained a gunshot wound in the head, was dead on the spot.

The police official said that Yu was having his car repaired when four persons on board two motorcycles arrived.

Based on witnesses’ accounts, the killers approached the policeman and shot him.
