POLICE arrested a man and woman in a drug buy-bust operation in barangay Opao, Mandaue City, yesterday afternoon.
Police said Christopher Baunsit, 33, sold a medium pack of suspected shabu worth P500 to a poseur buyer.
Adelfa Vitor was with Baunsit during the transaction. When the poseur-buyer gave a prearranged signal, Baunsit fled.
Police collared Vitor and said they found strips of tinfoil on him.
Police went to the house of Baunsit in sitio Grancena and arrested him there.
Police said they recovered the buy-bust money from Baunsit.
Police said Baunsit will be charged for selling illegal drugs, while Vitor will be charged for possession of drug paraphernalia./CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V. MENDOZA
