Drug group ‘leader’ falls in Laguna – police

April 25, 2017- San Pedro City Police Station, San Pedro City, Laguna. - Reynaldo Marquina Lasay A.K.A alias Pato nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Brgy. Cuyab, San Pedro, Laguna at 2:15pm. A two pieces of transparent plastic sachet containing a crystaline substance suspected as shabu with a street value of PHP 28,000.00 was recovered from the suspect. Alias Pato is a high valued target and leader of Pato Drug Group in San Pedro, Laguna.

SAN PEDRO CITY – A man tagged by police as a high value target for illegal drug trade in this city was arrested on Tuesday afternoon.

Initial report from city police chief Supt. Harold Depositar said the suspect, Reynaldo Marquina, 50, was arrested around 2 p.m. near his home in Barangay (village) Cuyab. Marquina was tagged as the leader of the so-called Pato drug group here, placing him on top of the police watchlist for illegal drug trade.

Marquina was arrested after he agreed to sell a sachet of “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to an undercover policeman.

The police said they recovered 12.86 grams of shabu worth P28,000 from the suspect.
