Drug group ‘leader’ falls in Laguna – police
SAN PEDRO CITY – A man tagged by police as a high value target for illegal drug trade in this city was arrested on Tuesday afternoon.
Initial report from city police chief Supt. Harold Depositar said the suspect, Reynaldo Marquina, 50, was arrested around 2 p.m. near his home in Barangay (village) Cuyab. Marquina was tagged as the leader of the so-called Pato drug group here, placing him on top of the police watchlist for illegal drug trade.
Marquina was arrested after he agreed to sell a sachet of “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to an undercover policeman.
The police said they recovered 12.86 grams of shabu worth P28,000 from the suspect.
