DID YOU KNOW: Budget Commission

The Budget Commission, the predecessor of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), was created by virtue of Executive Order No. 25 signed on April 25, 1936 by Commonwealth President Manuel Quezon. In 1987, Executive Order No. 292 or the Revised Administrative Code converted it to the DBM.
