NAGA CITY – Police confiscated six heat sealed plastic sachets of “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and a hand grenade during a search in the house of a suspected drug pusher in Nabua town in Camarines Sur on Monday, police said Tuesday.

Report said the items were seized by police personnel armed with a search warrant in the house of suspect Oden Friden Pineda in Barangay (village) San Francisco at 12:15 p.m. A small glass bottle, also containing shabu, and drug paraphernalia were also found there.

Chief Inspector John Murray Cutaran, Nabua police chief, said the suspect would be facing cases of violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act 2001 and RA 9516, for illegal possession of hand grenade.
