DAGUPAN CITY — Seven people were hurt on Monday (April 17) when a van and a pickup truck collided in Sual town in Pangasinan province, police said.
The accident took place at a sharp curve of the national road in Barangay Caoayan at 6:30 a.m., injuring Jefferson Calpo, the 19-year-old truck driver, and his passengers Elsie Sales, Josephine Velonza and Remedios Bumacod.
The van driver, Ronie Ramos, 27, was unhurt. But his passengers – Vic Camargo, Ranie Villanueva, and Ernesto Aquino, all from Barangay Bani in Bayambang town – were injured, They were treated at a hospital in Alaminos City.
