NAGUILIAN, Isabela — Seven people were hurt, among them a 6-year-old boy, during a four-car collision on Maundy Thursday at the national highway in Barangay (village) San Manuel, police said.

Hurt in the crash were Sonny Rumbaoa, 43; Orlando Castillo, 35; Joseph Laggui, 51; Deodato Laggui, 34, and his six-year-old son Jay-ar; Marcos Dayag, 41, and Joseph Busto, 34; all from Isabela province.

Busto was driving a sedan which collided with a tanker, said Supt. Manuel Bringas, chief of the Isabela police investigation unit. The impact propelled the sedan to crash into two more vehicles along the road – a commuter van and a sports utility vehicle, he said.

The wounded people were brought to the Isabela Doctors General Hospital. JE
