CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela — A 29-year-old truck driver died while three others were hurt when a truck collided with a car at the national highway along San Felipe village here at dawn on Palm Sunday, police said.
Truck driver Rommel Pascua was declared dead on arrival at the Faustino Dy Sr. Memorial Hospital while the driver of the car, Jeffrey Mata, 34, and his passengers Eugene Azul, 21, and Vonhamin Azul, 19, were confined at the same hospital for treatment, according to Supt. Manuel Bringas, Isabela police investigation chief.
The truck was negotiating a curve when it crashed into the sedan. CBB
