LRT-2 closed on Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday

The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) on Thursday announced train schedules for the Holy Week, which will coincide with its annual maintenance operation.

In an advisory, the management said LRT Lines 1 and 2 would halt its operations on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday (April 13 to 16.)

Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are regular holidays in the Philippines, while Black Saturday is a special nonworking holiday.

On Holy Wednesday, LRT-2’s westbound trains from Santolan to Recto will run from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., while eastbound trains from Recto to Santolan will operate from 5 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Normal operations will resume on April 17, Monday.
