Nueva Vizcaya town official gunned down

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya — Motorcycle-riding gunmen shot and killed the president of the local association of barangay councils in Bambang town on Thursday morning.
Mario Farolan, 52, chair of Barangay San Fernando in Bambang and town council member as president of the Liga ng mga Barangay, was gunned down as he drove his motorcycle along San Fernando road in Barangay Calaocan.
The police said Farolan was about to enter the town proper when attacked.
