Mt. Province cop killed in Bontoc gun attack

BAGUIO CITY- A policeman was shot and killed on Sunday night at the Mt. Province capital town of Bontoc, according to a belated report.

Chief Insp. Benjamin Falangon Challoy, 40, a member of the Highway Patrol Group, was attacked along a road at 9:46 p.m. by three men, who were seen fleeing the crime scene.

Challoy suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to the Bontoc General Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival./rga
