SM accepts PhilHealth premium contribution

SM Retail Inc. can now collect the premium contribution of PhilHealth members and the remittances of registered employers.

Only individually paying members with PhilHealth identification numbers and employers with PhilHealth employer numbers will be accommodated by the SM customer service assistant.

When paying, members and employers must fill out the PhilHealth premium order slip (PPOS).

Upon presentation of the PPOS and payment to the SM customer service assistant, a validated PPOS and a point-of-sale generated receipt (POS-GR) will be issued to the payor, which shall be recognized as proof of premium payment, particularly when availing of PhilHealth benefits.

PhilHealth also recently accredited Ventaja International Corp. as collecting agent abroad for premium contribution of overseas Filipino workers. Ventaja has remittance tie-ups in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Italy, United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, United States of America and Australia.
