84-year-old man found hanging in Pangasinan; suicide note found

DAGUPAN CITY — An 84-year-old man was found dead on Sunday in an apparent suicide in Sison town in Pangasinan province, police said.

Using a blanket, Cresencio Daylusan, 84, hanged himself from his house terrace in Barangay (village) Agat.

Investigators found a suicide note apparently written by Daylusan. His neighbors told investigators that Daylusan informed them the night before that something bad would happen to him.

Daylusan was taken to a hospital but a doctor there declared him dead on arrival.  SFM/rga
