PSG has new commander
President Duterte’s senior military adviser will now be in charge of his security.
Col. Lope Dagoy is the new chief of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) effective March 21, replacing Brig. Gen. Rolando Bautista, according of the Office of the Executive Secretary.
Bautista has been tasked to lead the Philippine Army’s 1st Infantry Division in Zamboanga del Sur, replacing Maj. Gen. Gerardo Barrientos who has retired.

The change of command ceremony is scheduled to be held on Thursday.
Dagoy headed the 10th Philippine peacekeeping contingent to Haiti.
