Fugitive in most wanted list in Tandag City nabbed
MANILA, Philippines – A fugitive in the Top 10 most wanted list in Tandag City has been arrested, a police official said.
Christopher Portillo Sulapas, 28, resident of Cabugan Bag-ong Lungsod, Tandag City, was arrested Thursday in Moonglow, Bag-ong Lungsod, Superintendent Martin Gamba, Caraga regional police spokesman, said Friday.
Gamba said Sulapas was arrested by elements of the city police at around 10 a.m. Thursday for the crime of rape.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Merlyn Pacaro-Cañedo of Branch 40 of the regional trial court in Tandag City, Gamba said.
Sulapas is now under the custody of Tandag City police for proper disposition, Gamba said.
