2 women nabbed for drug pushing in General Santos
GEN. SANTOS CITY—Police arrested two women here for drug pushing and seized nearly P500,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” from the suspects on Thursday.
Supt. Romeo Galgo Jr, speaking for the Central Mindanao police office, identified the two women as Cherry Amor Gubalani, 37, and Ailine Ralla, 28, both residents of Purok Fernandez in Barangay (village) Calumpang here.
Galgo said confiscated from the suspects were 18 sachets of prohibited drugs weighing about 40 grams and with an estimated market value of P472,000.
He said police agents, led by Supt. Maximo Sebastian, conducted a buy-bust operation on the two women.
The suspects face anti-drug charges and were being temporarily detained in the city police office holding cell. RAM/rga
