A low pressure area (LPA) near Davao City will continue to bring rain in parts of Mindanao, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.

“Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and isolated thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides will be experienced over the regions of Caraga, Davao and Soccsksargen and the province of Southern Leyte,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The LPA was last spotted 160 kilometers southeast of Davao City.

The rest of the Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms.

The northeast monsoon will also bring rain to parts of Luzon, Pagasa said.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon. CBB
