Former actress Nadia Montenegro has filed another complaint against talent manager Annabelle Rama over the latter’s “damaging” tweets about her on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

The charge of libel was filed last week by Montenegro (Nadine Montenegro Pla in real life) before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.

It was the third case filed by the former actress against Rama who used to manage her daughters, aged 15 and 17.

In September, Montenegro charged the talent manager with child abuse and accused her of making her children work more than 40 hours a week in violation of child labor laws.

She also filed a separate charge of falsification of oral defamation because Rama, according to her, spread nasty rumors about her daughters.

In her latest complaint, Montenegro said that after she filed the cases against Rama, the latter made several unflattering comments about her on Twitter between September 30 and October 20.

She added that after she learned of the “libelous” tweets from her family and friends, she read Rama’s comments and was “shocked at the gravity of insults” that were hurled against her.

Some of Rama’s tweets touched on her (Montenegro’s) financial problems while others referred to a certain  “Pig” or “Piggy,” which the former manager identified in a tweet dated October 19 as “Nadia M,” she said.

Montenegro claimed that the tweets were “highly libelous, offensive, felonious” and derogatory.

“Furthermore, the respondent made those posts with no obvious good intentions nor any justifiable motives other than to dishonor me in the eyes of the public, my peers and my friends, discredit me and besmirch my reputation,” she added.
