200 grams of ‘shabu’ seized in central Luzon drug busts

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga—The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized 200 grams of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) from 10 suspects in two days of drug busts in Central Luzon.

Ceferino De Dios, 41 and Rusty R. Manlutac, 39, were arrested in Barangay (village) Alas-as on Friday (Feb. 24) for possessing 50 grams of shabu, valued at P240,000.

About 100 grams of shabu, worth P480,000, were taken from an alleged drug den maintainer identified as Rowena Querol in Northridge Subdivision in Barangay Sto. Domingo in the City of San Jose del Monte in Bulacan on Thursday (Feb. 23). She was arrested with Analiza Reyes, 36, Melani Abalo, 45, Robert S. Escanela, 26, and Victor M. Briguel, 24.

Yahya Malang, 23, Liklik Markakim, 20, and Normaliah Datuon, 21, were arrested with 50 grams of shabu in a PDEA operation at F. Tañedo St. in Barangay Poblacion in Tarlac City.
