Interior Secretary Ismael Sueno railed at Amnesty International (AI) for always seeing “wrong” in the government’s latest step against narcotics, which involves putting “drug-free home” stickers on houses cleared by local peace and order bodies.

“They saw wrong in this strategy. They said we will expose the [houses without stickers] to shame,” Sueno said before representatives of the European Union and ranking officials of the government.

“Now, we are shifting to something positive, we are looking for the good ones and we are concentrating in curing the sick. Why do they say ‘wrong’ always. They should be branded as human wrong group, not human rights group,” Sueno added.

He said instead of simply criticizing the government, human rights groups should offer suggestions on what the government should do.
