3 fires break out in Metro Manila in quick succession

A fire of still undetermined cause broke out shortly past midnight on Thursday in a residential area in the area of Angono Street in Barangay Poblacion, near the Makati City Hall, according to Txt Fire Philippines in messages posted in its Twitter and Facebook accounts.

According to the volunteer group, the fire reached first alarm before fire fighters put it under control at around 1:07 a.m.

As of this posting, there were no reports of injuries.

Shortly after the Makati fire was put under control, two more fires were reported – one in Barangay Addition Hills in Mandaluyong and another in near the corner of P. Noval and Dapitan Streets in Sampaloc, Manila.
