Denmark riders to arrive today, to vie in local motor races

THE Danish riders who will compete head-to-head against local bike daredevils in the coming days, will arrive today in Cebu for a series of tournaments.

The  J.O Racing Honda Denmark team will be spearheaded by team owner Jens Nielsen along with riders Danni Hojris, Kasper Oriis, Nikolaj Jackobsen and Nikolaj Vindevilt.

The team will first compete this Sunday in Tuburan and in Carcar on Nov. 13 for the 2nd Nice Apura Invitational International Motocross Cup which will also be participated by the country’s best motocross riders.

The arrival of the Danish pro riders was announced by multi-titled motocross rider Jon Eleazar Adlawan yesterday. Adlawan has also visited Denmark earlier this year upon the invitation of Nielsen to compete and train there.

Meanwhile, the Sel-J Racing Club of Manila will send 15 riders while Team Pacquiao is also expected to compete along with riders from Tuguegarao and Bicol.

The race in Carcar will feature expert, intermediate, novice, beginners, 125 enduro, veterans A and B classes, 40-above, underbone class, peewee class, 50cc class and 85 cc class for youngsters. Organizers are also planning to include a ladies category.
