Teener killed, 3 wounded in Masbate shooting incident
LEGAZPI CITY—A teenage boy was killed while three others where wounded in a shooting incident in Cataingan town in Masbate on Saturday night, police said Sunday.
Police Senior Inspector Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said around 8:20 p.m. while the Tubos family was sleeping inside their house in Sitio Puro, Barangay (village) Villa Pogado, an unidentified person wearing a bonnet forcibly entered then began shooting.
Elvie, 32, Angelica, 9, and Titing, all surnamed Tubos, sustained gushot wounds in different parts of the body while Ariel, 14, died on the spot with a fatal injury in the chest.
The wounded were brought to Cataingan District Hospital for medical attention. The suspect fled after the incident. RAM/rga
