BAGUIO CITY — The country’s summer capital is back to having the “usual” weather.

After almost a week-long struggle with bitter cold,  residents welcomed what they described as “pleasant weather” after the mercury rose to 12 degrees Celsius, a sharp increase from 8 degrees on Thursday.

But weather observers said the temperature could drop in the next few days as the city was still experiencing the tail-end of a cold front.

The cold weather has been attracting foreign and local tourists, especially since the Baguio is hosting Panagbenga or the flower festival.

More tourists are expected to come tomorrow as the Philippine Military Academy will celebrate the annual alumni homecoming with President Duterte as guest. CBB
