Bus kills woman walking along highway in Pagbilao, Quezon
LUCENA CITY – A female pedestrian was killed when she was hit by a Manila-bound passenger bus in Pagbilao town in Quezon province on Thursday, police said Friday.
The woman was walking on the side of the Maharlika Highway when she was hit by a Bicol Isarog bus driven by Mark Radones in Barangay (village) Talipan at 3:25 a.m., police said. The victim died on the spot due to her injuries.
The victim was wearing maong pants, white t-shirt and was more or less 5’2 in height. As of Friday morning, the unclaimed body of the victim still lies at Funeraria Pagbilao in Lucena City.
