Today, Feb. 15, is the 129th birth anniversary of Dr. Victor Buencamino, the first Filipino to establish a veterinary hospital in the Philippines. Buencamino obtained his veterinary medicine degree from Cornell University. He served as assistant director of the Bureau of Animal Industry in 1930.
