LEGAZPI CITY, Albay—Hundreds of police officers from the Albay police provincial office celebrated Valentine’s Day by giving people crime prevention tips in heart-shaped cards coupled with roses.

Police Chief Inspector Arthur Gomez, public information officer of Albay police, said the crime prevention tips also included the 10 top reasons to say no to drugs.

“We would like to keep our community from harm’s way and we think that’s the real meaning of showing love and care to our people on Heart’s (Valentine’s) day,” Gomez said.

“Their act is very nice; with these message and tips we are being reminded and educated how not to get involved in crimes,” said Alexa Dee Oraa, senior high school student who received a card from a lady police officer.
