In Sariaya town, 16 suspected illegal gamblers were  arrested in alleged gambling dens in Barangays Poblacion 4, Concepcion Palasan and Sampaloc 2 at about 2:30 p.m. The suspects were caught playing “video karera,” “tong-its” and mahjong.

In Lopez town, operatives armed with an arrest warrant nabbed Rodelo Caballas in Barangay Manguisian around 1 p.m. Armamento said Caballas had long been wanted for drug trafficking in Lopez and neighboring towns. No bail was recommended for his temporary release.
