ILAGAN CITY — A 43-year-old man was killed, and two others were hurt on Wednesday (Feb. 8) when a dump truck fell off a 150-meter-deep ravine in Pasil town in Kalinga province.

Ramon Balwo died in the crash at the national highway in Barangay (village) Balinciagao Sur, which injured Bonifacio Dansil and Sante Sumupang.

SPO4 Ronaldo Gumabay, an investigator of the Pasil police, said the three men were on their way to repair a damaged road in Balbalan town, also in Kalinga. They were travelling in the dump truck loaded with gravel and sand.  SFM/rga
