LUCENA CITY — Two men were arrested Wednesday in Tiaong town in Quezon province for illegal possession of a firearm, police said Thursday.

A police report said Ringo Alcaria, 30, was found carrying an unlicensed Colt caliber .45 pistol in Barangay (village) Behia at around 11:45 p.m. Aside from the firearm, police also seized one magazine with three bullets.

Earlier, at 5:30 a.m., police armed with a search warrant swooped down on the house of Edison Gonzales in Barangay Lumingon and seized a .45-caliber pistol with eight bullets.
The firearm was undocumented.

The suspects are detained at the Tiaong police jail. CBB
