P100K reward up in case of beheaded Munti maid

Muntinlupa City Mayor Jaime Fresnedi on Tuesday offered a P100,000 reward to anyone who can lead authorities to the killer of Richelle Sagang, a 17-year-old house help in upscale Ayala Alabang Village who was decapitated, her head found in Makati and her body in Bulacan.

Almost a month after the crime, there has been no progress in the investigation by the Southern Police District (SPD), which has so far tagged three persons of interest in the case.

These include two women who accompanied the victim to the village security office to report that Sagang had been fired by her employer for alleged theft.

Sagang’s body was found in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, on Jan. 12, while her head was found 37 kilometers away in a creek in Barangay Pinagkaisahan, Makati.

The SPD director, Chief Supt. Tomas Apolinario Jr., said Sagang was shot in the chin. Information that can help track down Dagang’s killer may be relayed to the Muntinlupa police at 8622611, 8623778, 8621841, 5430799 and 8617922.—Dexter Cabalza
