Tropical Depression “Bising” weakened into a low pressure area on Monday afternoon, the state weather bureau said.

Sea travel remained dangerous over the northern seaboard of northern Luzon and the eastern seaboards of Central Luzon, southern Luzon and of the Visayas due to the surge of the northeast monsoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The LPA was last spotted 690 kilometers east of Juban, Sorsogon.

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Eastern Visayas, Pagasa said.

Batanes province and Calayan Island will have cloudy skies with light rains, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
