The low pressure area (LPA) east of Pagasa Island in Palawan has dissipated, the state weather bureau said midday Tuesday.

The tail-end of a cold front affecting the eastern section of northern Luzon has also weakened, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its 11 a.m. advisory.
