Kannawidan Ylocos Festival
A celebration of the culture and attractions of Ilocos Sur province. Activities lined up for the festival include a Mass at the St. Paul Cathedral in Vigan City, beauty pageant, concerts, livelihood training, street dancing, fun run and peotry writing contest.
Feb. 1
Kaamulan Festival
An ethnic festival in Malaybalay City celebrating the culture of the original indigenous groups in Bukidnon province. Participants show up in their intricate costumes studded with trinkets and amulets and perform their rituals. Locals also participate in an ethnic dance clinic, parade and street dancing competition.
