The Bureau of Customs is expected to generate an additional P16.16 million in revenues from the sale of abandoned and/or seized goods in one of its major ports.
The Manila International Container Port (MICP) will hold on Jan. 30 a public auction of various items, including four units of Cadillac Escalade and one unit of Lincoln Navigator with a floor price of P2.25 million; two units of used cars pegged at P600,000; two containers of bicycle parts and accessories pegged at P1.47 million; five containers of color sandwich panels color plate pegged at P2.96 million and one container of e-bike parts and accessories priced at P1 million.
Also up for bidding are 48 containers of bunker/slop oil with a floor price of P1.09 million; two units of used Hyundai Starex Ambulance 2003 pegged at P600,000; two containers of Mizuno golf bags and shoes, pegged at P989,100; one unit of used Kawasaki motorcycle without key, and one unit Valiant rescue boat with key, all valued at P130,000; and three units IAC 250 series mini sound shelter pegged at P150,000. Public viewing of merchandise and pre-bid conference for all qualified bidders is on Jan. 26-27 at the MICP.
