Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. rushes to hospital to be with father
MANILA, Philippines – Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. has arrived at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Taguig City, where his father and former Senator Ramon Revilla Sr. was rushed due to high blood pressure, according to a report on Radyo Inquirer 990AM.
The report said Revilla was accompanied by his staff as he rushed to be beside his father, whose condition was being attributed to the murder of his son, Ramgen Bautista and the implication of another, Ramon Joseph, to the killing.
Ramgen, an actor who went by the screen name Ram Revilla, was killed in the family-owned home in Parañaque City last October 28.
Police have tagged two of Ramgen’s siblings – Ramon Joseph and Maria Ramona Belen – as among the suspects in the murder. Five other people were named in the case.
Ramon Joseph and two others were arrested Monday night while Maria Ramona Belen and three others are still at large.
