The tail-end of a cold front in Mindanao and the northeast monsoon in Luzon and the Visayas is bringing rain to parts of the country, the weather bureau said Tuesday.

Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rain and thunderstorms will be experienced over the regions of Caraga and Davao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Pagasa warned that the rain may trigger flashfloods and landslides in affected areas.

Luzon and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with light rain.

Moderate rain is expected over Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon, Pagasa said.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain is expected over the rest of Visayas. CBB
