Woman gives birth to girl at NAIA-3

MANILA, Philippines – A 31-year-old woman gave birth to a baby girl at pre-departure area of Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 at about 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The woman, identified as Michelle Rash, was about to board Cebu Pacific flight 5J373 bound for Roxas City when she went into labor.

Nurse Sofia Mamala of the NAIA-3 clinic and a doctor who was about to take the same flight to Roxas City attended to the emergency delivery.

The report said mother and baby are doing well.
