OLONGAPO CITY — Seven suspected drug peddlers and users fell into the hands of the local police in separate drug operations here on Tuesday (Jan. 17) evening.
Three of the suspects work at a beauty salon in Barangay (village) Barretto, and were arrested during a buy-bust operation outside their workplace at about 10 p.m., said Senior Supt. Melchor Calbaza III, acting director of the Olongapo City Police.
Police said the other three suspects were caught buying shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) from the beauty salon employees who have been under surveillance by authorities.
Another suspected drug dealer was arrested in a separate buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Rita.
Seized from the suspects were several plastic sachets containing alleged shabu, drug paraphernalia, and marked money. SFM
