PDI statement on misprinting in January 18 front page

The January 18, 2017 issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer carried a serious printing error: The “guide questions” on Page 1 came out wrong; they had been jumbled up.

Upon investigation, we have determined that last-minute changes in the editorial process led to the misprinting.

We apologize to our readers for this mistake. While technical in nature, it had an impact on the reading experience. We will strive to ensure that it will not happen again.

For the record, the guide questions should have read as follows:

HOW many times did gunmen fire at this Pasig drug suspect?

WHAT are extrajudicial killings doing to today’s kids?

WHO will perform the ‘winning’ impersonations?
