Teen accused of raping girl in Lapu

A 17-YEAR-OLD boy was arrested after he was allegedly caught in the act of raping  a 12-year-old girl in Lapu-Lapu City last Sunday night.

The boy, who was caught lying beside  the naked girl,  denied the allegations against him.

According to the police, the boy had invited the girl for a drinking session in his house.

The girl’s father went to the house looking for his  missing  daughter.

The father said he was shocked to find her  lying  dazed  beside  the boy.

The father arrested the boy and turned him over to the police.  He said  the boy appeared drunk.

The girl was brought to  the Pink Room of the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center for  a medical examination.  Police are still waiting for the exam results before deciding on filing chargess. / NORMAN V. MENDOZA
