Top man on Lucena’s drugs watch list, 2 others nabbed

LUCENA CITY – The top personality on this city’s drugs watch list was arrested in a raid Sunday at his house which is also a drug den, police said Monday.

Supt. Dennis de Leon, Lucena police chief, said members of the anti-illegal drugs unit led by Senior Insp. Rodolfo Borromeo swooped down on the house of Napoleon Escalona, alias “Tabuloy,” in Barangay (village) Mayao Crossing at about 3:30 p.m. Escalona, who earlier surrendered to the police, is listed as number one on the local police illegal drugs list.

Police also collared alleged drug users Jeffrey De los Reyes and Juanito Aguilar while having a pot session inside Escalona’s house.

The raiders seized drug paraphernalia and nine small plastic packets of suspected shabu weighing 4.9 grams worth P9,000. CBB
