4 men dead in QC drug busts
Four men known only by their aliases have been killed by Quezon City policemen in alleged shootouts following separate antidrug operations.
At 9 p.m. on Saturday, Batasan policemen shot dead “Bok,” around 30 to 35 years old, and “Ton-Ton” around 25 to 40 years old, in a house on AFP Road in Barangay Holy Spirit. The police were only after suspected drug pusher Arthuro Cruz but the pair drew guns as Cruz fled.
In Novaliches, two men known only as “Cris” and “Totoy” were also killed at 3:10 a.m. on Sunday. They yielded two guns and 11 sachets of suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride).
