Road closure in Manila for Rizal Day celebration

Some roads in Manila will be closed to traffic from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.on Dec. 30 for the 120th anniversary of the martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal.

The Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit (MDTEU) said north and southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak Drive to TM Kalaw will be closed to traffic up to 9 in the morning.

MDTEU advised all vehicles traveling northward along Roxas Boulevard to turn right to TM Kalaw Street then turn left to Ma. Orosa Street to the point of destination.

On the other hand, all southbound vehicles coming from Delpan Bridge-Pier Zone should turn left to P. Burgos and then right to Ma. Orosa to point of destination.

MDTEU added that all vehicles coming from McArthur, Jones and Quezon Bridges to south of Roxas Boulevard should instead use Taft Avenue to point of destination. CDG/rga
