Workers avail of free medical, dental services

MORE than 800 employees and their family benefited from the free clinic organized by their employer Dedon furniture company at its plant in barangay Canduman, Mandaue City last Oct. 23.

The beneficiaries received free medical and dental services. The team of Dr. Conrado Diestro provided consultations, dental extractions, minor surgery, pap smear, various laboratory examinations, free vitamins and medicines.

Dedon volunteers also gave interactive entertainment for the kids and adults.

Vince Lampert, Dedon’s managing director, said “helping the dependents of our employees who are in need of medical services” is in line with the company’s mission to create a lasting commitment to social responsibility.

Furthermore, he said the company also wanted to reach out to their partners by also providing free medical and dental services.
